Travelling in comfort and style with AVIS car rental in Thailand

I flew from Hua Hin to Chiang Mai with Air Asia and hired a hire car from AVIS car rental at the airport. Within 20 minutes of landing I was driving towards my hotel for the night.

I was travelling alone but why anyone would want to rough it if they were in a family group, with friends or on business with colleagues, I do not know!

Just book a car online with AVIS and bypass the taxi queues, people shouting at you, surly taxi drivers and cramped rides.

I was sat in a large, comfortable SUV. I could go where I wanted, when I wanted and not at someone else’s beck and call. Stop when I wanted and Google Maps is now so easy to use to get anywhere that you want to go.

I stayed the night in Chiang Mai and explored the city the following day arriving at my hosts address in Mae Rim on his arrival from Bangkok.
