The Royal Beach Resort Samui

Last week I had the pleasure of staying at the above property on the party (or chilled… whatever is your preference) island of Samui.

Located on the South East East coastline of the island near Lamai and the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, the property has a range of accommodations to suit all requirements. For loving couples seeking a hideaway beach resort to large family groups staying in the chalets, the property benefits to having, all but a private beach, as its neighbours are a government weather station and a private villa on either side.

The room that I stayed in overlooked the beach and the water and I had a lovely terrace with a large Jacuzzi bath and sun loungers, table, chairs, etc., so the other guests didn’t see much of me… just at meal times or when I was entering or leaving the complex.

The swimming pool and hot tubs on the property seemed to be very popular and there was a pool bar serving cold drinks and alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

The restaurant was simple but effective and the staff all seemed happy and amenable. The management were onsite and visible so the standards are high and the families and other guests that I spoke to, were all very pleased with their choice of resort.

All in all this is a very nicely located resort and I have no hesitation in recommending it to my readers.
