La Fete Galleries’ Night – Feb 3rd and Feb 4th
The fourth edition of the much-anticipated annual Galleries’ Night BKK comes to Bangkok this coming weekend with more than 40 galleries and art spaces throwing open their doors to the public from 5 p.m. until midnight. Expect exhibitions, screenings, talks, performances, artists’ Q&A, and live music in the Silom/Sathorn and riverside area Friday evening, and along the Sukhumvit BTS line on Saturday.
Organised by the French Embassy of Thailand, Galleries’ Night takes its inspiration from the Nuits Blanche event in Paris, a festival that celebrates the city’s art and culture late into the evening. Similarly, Galleries’ Night BKK aims to promote contemporary art here in Thailand and welcomes enthusiasts of all ages, with even a special event for families and children at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) scheduled for Saturday, February 4th from 2 p.m. onwards.
