Chatrium Residence Sathorn
This week I had the opportunity to visit the Chatrium Residence Sathon, a hotel that I have stayed at in the past.
The majority of guests are short term and stay for business, conferences or leisure and with the summer school holidays now in many parts of the world the property the hotel is clearly popular with families.
The hotel has always been an impressive building with quality materials, furnishings and finish, as one would expect from its owners, but the staff seemed particularly ‘chipper’.
Well mannered, polite, happy in their employment, and high morale is so important in the hospitality business. They seemed eager to serve and please, and I put that down to the General Manager (GM).
John Neutze the GM can be seen clearing the tables at breakfast and bustling about the place with an ever present smile and pleasant greeting for all his guests. He obviously knows many of his long term residents personally and I am sure that his presence and motivation has given this hotel a huge shot in the arm and a boost in its current occupancy and performance.
