VERSO’s announcement on tuition fee waiver

We’re inspired by the Thai value of Nam Jai. Its simple message of kindness is profoundly Thai and resonates deeply within VERSO, especially the Liang Family who experienced first-hand the generosity and help of the Thai people in the immediate aftermath of the 2004 tsunami disaster. 

COVID-19 has brought significant disruption to Thailand. We recognize the difficulties that families are experiencing. We understand that parents are facing a lot of uncertainties and are worried about their child’s education. Given the current circumstances, we feel compelled to support our community.

We’re therefore pleased to announce that the shareholders behind VERSO (U City, an affiliate of the BTS Group and the Liang Family), will waive tuition fees for the upcoming academic year for all eligible students. In addition, there will be a 50% reduction on tuition fees for the 2021-22 academic year.
