Twist by David

At a recent Chiang Mai Lions event I was taken to a brand new restaurant on the Chiang Mai scene ‘Twist by David’.

British restauranteur David Gordon ran the highly acclaimed ‘David’s Kitchen’, an Italian restaurant that was highly successful in Chiang Mai but was sadly closed due to the pandemic.

He is back with two Thai partners with a visually appealing Thai fusion restaurant that is obviously destined for success and recognition. His chef has already been recognised by the Thai Iron Chef programme despite only being open for 3 weeks!

We had a delightful meal with dishes, far too many to mention, as a large group of 18 Lions to mark International Past President Douglas Alexander from New York and his entourage touring SE Asia.

Dinner was accompanied by some fine wines and all of the dishes were cleared… sauces and all!
In less than its first month of existence several diners have already returned to sample the fine cuisine at its ‘easy to access’ location – 3029 San Phi Suea, Mueang Chiang Mai.
