Haji Lane: The purple hollow road

by Token

History:

Haji Lane was a quiet place in the 1800s – 1960s  as a small but reliant place for many travellers.

The 1960s – 1970’s allowed families to open their shops in disadvantaged families.

In the late 1970’s, it was used as a storage shed and Haji Lane’s vapour was temporarily lost.

Now, in the 2000s, this is a popular destination for tourists, even as a tourist repetitive destination.

How can we get there?

Aj Haji Lane is located in a block called Singapore Kampong Glam and also near Arab Street and Little India.

As you approach the nearest Bugis MRT (East-West Line) exit, exit B from Victoria Exit and turn right onto Ophir Road and turn right on North Bridge Road. : When you don’t find any graffiti, Haji Lane will be waiting for you, usually with GPS coordinates.

The usual attraction:

Tourists grab the hearts of tourists with colourful graffiti with vibrant walls, spa and saloons, collectors, and antique shops, as well as live music. The bar, the cafe and the restaurant are really good because of their art and decorations are really glamorous for visitors just by a glance.

So, don’t miss a chance to pluck the opportunity  to come and visit when you arrive in Singapore because it is one of the must visit attraction places around Singapore.
