Thomas House. Thaton.

Thomas House. Thaton, 3 hours (177kms) North of Chiang Mai – 2kms from the Laos border is a small rural school set up by donations, for children (and adults) affected by Down Syndrome. Before the school these children, which are often the offspring of hill tribe people with no ID cards, papers, or identity, were hidden from sight as their parents felt that God had punished them by giving them, disadvantaged children. They were locked, or in some cases chained up, out of sight. Thomas House has given them hope… but it badly needs your help. They have not received government assistance. Cannot get medications or hospital treatment without payment and when their parents earn less than 200B a day (if they are lucky). They need supplies and funds to give these poor children a life. Please… see it in your lives to make a small donation or a monthly/annual subscription to allow those less fortunate than us an opportunity to feel human. Write to Rosie Massingham rosie@mrv-educationservices.com God bless you all…
