As Bangkok’s starts preparing for its first Art Biennale in 2018 and become a part of the Great Asian Art Wave happening already since 2012 in Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Japan. The Embassy of Colombia and the Art Museum of Chulalongkorn University will offer to all the community a powerful art exhibition called ”Winds of Peace”.
Winds of Peace” – a Contemporary Art Exhibition of three renowned Colombian Artists to celebrate the end of a war conflict in Colombia. A groundbreaking moment in Colombia’s history. The recognition of this historic achievement has manifested itself in different ways, including notably by the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to the President of the Republic of Colombia, Dr. Juan Manuel Santos.
This is a celebration through the eyes of our Colombian renown artists. Mario Ayerbe, one of the Colombian artists participating, will come all the way from Colombia to present his works. He is coming from the southern province of Huila, one of the regions that historically suffered the most from the scourge of violence. Today that region enjoys new winds, winds of peace, an environment suitable for the flourishing of the arts and other expressions of human creation.
You need to arrive to A81 & A80 Building on the map.
