ANZWG Melbourne Cup Charity Luncheon
On the 5th November, 2019, The ANZWG Melbourne Cup Charity Luncheon, will be held in the Ballroom of the Amari Watergate Hotel Bangkok between 9.30am and 3.00pm. This event is one of the most anticipated events in the calendar for the Australian and New Zealand communities and their friends. For over 20 years this event has been hosted by the Australian-New Zealand Women’s Group Bangkok (ANZWG). The event attracts over 350 expatriates and is renowned as a fantastic day of fun, fashion, entertainment and charity.
The entertainment goes all day with Shrewsbury International School Fashions on the Field (Best Dressed Woman, Best Millinery, Best Hat Original Creation, Best Dressed Table and the ever popular Best Dressed Man), music by the awesome Unicorn band & DJ George, and all accompanied by fabulous food with free flow bubbles, beer and wine.
Thanks to generous sponsors and donations there are wonderful Door and Raffle Prizes on offer. Grab your horses in the Lucky Horse Draws and cheer them on as you watch the Melbourne Cup race on the big screens in the Ballroom. Got to be in it to win it!
And if you are up for it there’s more with an afterparty 3pm – 9pm.
Tickets can be purchased individually, in small groups or in whole tables of 10. Purchase tickets by cash payment, bank deposit or online via Megatix.
Fundraising is a large component of the day and this year’s welfare recipient are the numerous education projects that are supported by ANZWG in Thailand.
