1 March 2008Providence, Rhode Island. Barack does press interviews by phone between events. When he sees Shell photographing his shoes, he says he has already had them resoled once since he entered the race. They were his lucky shoes.
3 May 2008 Noblesville, Indiana. The Obamas campaign at a county picnic in the Forest Park.
4 July 2008 Butte, Montana. The family watch TV on a campaign bus. They had got together to celebrate Malia’s 10th birthday.
30 August 2008 Boardman, Ohio. The Obamas share breakfast with Barack’s running mate, Joe Biden, and his wife, Jill, while on a bus tour of the state.
