Hyatt Hua Hin

Best Sunday brunch in Hua Hin

As I was in Hua Hin at the weekend I went to my favourite place for Sunday brunch – McFarland House at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Hua Hin. Today the weather conditions were perfect. A cool breeze blew in from offshore and the view is exquisite – please see accompanying photograph.

There is live music provided by a Filipino duo, first class service provided by attentive staff and a fresh seafood and quality meats buffet to rival any in the small city. Great food – tuna, salmon, oysters, octopus to start. Fresh prawns, followed by squid bon galee and pork neck salad. Accompanied by dang mo pan and clean cool water.

dinner

There was baby back pork ribs, chicken, beef steak, whitefish, and lamb on the meat BBQ so I have two delightful lamb chops which were succulent and cooked perfectly. I then went in search of the deserts but I should have been more disciplined and stuck with the fresh fruit. I have creme brûlée, Tiramisu, blackberry crumble and apple strudel. All small portions but it’s no wonder I keep growing!

No dinner tonight for me!
