5 European  Designers Meet 10 Thai Designers

(France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal)

European project

French Embassy, Goethe Institute, Embassy of Italy, Embassy of Spain and Portuguese Cultural Centre Bangkok – Instituto Camões are the 5 EUNIC members developing a singular project in the field of fashion design with Silpakorn University International College and Faculty of Decorative Arts.

A workshop is organized with 10 Thai students and 5 europeans students. All the EUNIC members involved in this project have already links with Silpakorn University.

EUNIC Clusters will take advantage of this common schedule to involve the European fashion designers students on workshop with local fashion designers students.

The objective of this project is to develop sustainable partnerships based on an expanding sector and international exchange and, in the same time, to assert the theme of sustainable development.

Process

5 European students and 10 Thai students :

5 couples / 5 mannequins
European schools involved :

Germany : Haw Hamburg
Italy : Accademia Italiana Di Firenze
Portugal : Faculdade de Belas-Artes Universidade de Lisboa

Spain : Centro Superior de Diseno de moda de Madrid
One workshop during 15 days at CAT Tower Building.

Each European/Thai team will work and produce clothes and accessories. The Challenge : use a recycling material (bag, shoes, scarf, jewelry…) for one piece of their creation.

Students will be trained by 2 professors from Silpakorn University : Ms. Anugoon Buranaprapuk & Mr. Piyawat Pattanapuckdee.
