Courtyard By Marriott in North Pattaya

Expat Life made a quick overnight stop to visit the new Courtyard By Marriott in North Pattaya last week.

Ideally situated in a quiet Soi in Naklua, tucked away 100 meters from the steps to the beach, the 233-room hotel is a delightful oasis of calm just at the start of Naklua.

I was met by helpful staff who unloaded my car and checked me in with minimal fuss. The car park was directly opposite with a 24/7 guard. I was shown to my room which was well-appointed with a rain and hand shower, and a nice bathroom with all the necessary amenities. There was even a hairdryer… but I didn’t need that. The bed was ultra-comfortable with views across Pattaya bay and I slept like a baby… The room had efficient air-conditioning, a desk, kettle, fridge, minibar, safety deposit box, and a flat-screen TV.

It was late so I gave the all-day dining restaurant a miss and ate a pleasant light meal in my room. swiftly delivered and very pleasant.

They have a range of rooms from 28 – 44sqm with 3 food and beverage outlets – the all day dining Cafe 22, the poolside Surf Bar and the Spart’s Bar in the lobby.

The following morning’s breakfast was a treat with a lovely buffet which provided cereals, poached eggs on spinach with grilled tomatoes and good coffee latte. The swimming pool, sundecks, fitness suite and children’s room were all on the roof and were all well appointed and very clean and fresh.

No hesitation in recommending this hotel for business or golfers as it has easy access in and out without needing to tackle Beach Rd., or for a relaxed leisure stay with your significant other or family.

Definitely one that I will use in the future!
