Tattoo Colour X Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra Concerts

The College of Music, Mahidol University in collaboration with “Tattoo Colour” announces special concerts “Tattoo Colour X Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra”.

Tattoo Colour will perform two concerts alongside the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) on Friday, 23 February 2018 at 7 pm. and Saturday, 24 February 2018 at 4.00 pm.at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya.

Tattoo Colour is an Indie-pop group from Khon Kaen with a record deal from the Smallroom label. They have one of the largest fan bases in the country over the last 10 years. The group has their own unique music production style and concert performances. All of their music is their own original score and lyrics.

This year, Tattoo Colour are ready for their first full orchestra concert with Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO), which includes ninety Thai and international musicians, to create a great new experience for their fans.

Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) is the leading national orchestra. Over its first 12 seasons the TPO has consistently impressed and inspired audiences with its excellent performances of no less than 70 concerts per year with soloists and conductors from around the world.

Tattoo Colour X Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra together with 2013- 2014 American Prize winner Thanaphon Setaphram (please check his spelling), a Thai conductor with worldwide recognition, will bring a new dynamic to orchestral music. Setaphram’s is well known for his collaboration with TPO for “TPO at the Movies” and “Legends and Fantasies” concerts, last year.

The highlight will be a new arrangement of Tattoo Colour’s greatest hits by Col. Prateep Suphanrojn, Composer in Residence and Resident Conductor, whose most notable work includes re-arranging traditional Thai music into orchestra style and movie soundtracks.

Tattoo Colour X Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra will bring entertainment to fans and music lovers like you’ve never seen before!

Tattoo Colour X Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra concerts will be on Friday, 23 February 2018 at 7.00 p.m. and Saturday, 24 February 2018 at 4.00 p.m., Prince Mahidol Hall, College of Music, Mahidol University, Salaya.
