Italian Reflection

This program features the world premiere work “Riflessi, สะท้อน…“by Italian composer Arnaldo de Felice, appointed by the Italian Embassy in Bangkok to especially write a new, original music to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Italian-Thai diplomatic relations, in the framework of the Italian Festival in Thailand special edition. The program also features Tchaikovsky’s final symphony. It’s the piece he termed ‘the best thing I have composed’ and is a confident and supremely energetic work. TPO and Chief Conductor Alfonso Scarano take on the weighty Tchaikovsky 6. Japanese classical guitar virtuoso Hitoshi Miyashita also joins to perform Fantasie Para in Gentilhombre.
