Invitation to the TPO “Pelleas and Melisande” Concerts on January 12-13, 2018 at the Prince Mahidol Hall
The play Pelléas et Mélisande inspired no fewer than four musical masterworks. TPO and Brazilian conductor Ligia Amadio present Arnold Schoenberg’s take on this “tragedy of adultery”. TPO solo piano favorite Poom Prommachart returns to perform Brahms’ first major orchestral work, his Piano Concerto No. 1.
