Story:

On 19 th December 2018 in Pattaya, Thailand the International Tennis Lover (ITL), a non- profit organisation has cooperated with Panama Embassy to Thailand and our partners the Lions Clubs International, Rotary International, AIA Insurance, KAAN Singha D’Luck Cinematic Theatre, Eakmongkol 8 Village Pattaya, Greta Resort and Sport Club Pattaya, AU GSB Debate Club, KINGSMEN WELLNESS SOLUTION, AMG, Karma Studio, SEARA Sports, The Inspiration Group and U-Delight Residence Bangkok in order to organise the 3 rd ITL Sport, Health and Social Awareness Clinic 2018 – a charity event at the Father Ray Foundation in Pattaya which is the 3 rd event of its kind organised by ITL giving the opportunity to kids and disadvantaged children held on 19 th December 2018.

All the organisers had the same objective which is to give a chance and support to the disadvantaged, the poor or kids with special needs. Each activity in the event will lead to improve their health, knowledge and enjoyment and also encourage them to have the right to get the equality in the society. Moreover, other activities related with the sport skills like tennis, beach tennis, Taekwondo, tricks, nutrition and etc.

Mr Bernz Díaz President of Events and representative of the Embassy of Panama to Thailand said that he was truly delighted to see all parties involved as everyone had a mindset to help and entertain he children; it is amazing that everyone is so dedicated to create and hold such an event. He said that the Panama Embassy want to connect to all Thai people, that is why we want to share the unique similarity between the beautiful Thai and Panama cultures. This event is a fine example for seeing what collaboration can bring and how many lives it can positively effect.

Father Peter Pattarapong Srivorakul, C.Ss.R. the President of Father Ray Foundation said that he too was amazed at the efforts and professionalism of all parties for making this a successful event for the children. All of the participating companies and individuals had worked hard days earlier to prepare behind the scenes to make the event such an extraordinary success. The activities, the gifts, educational funds, donation and new wheelchairs will change the lives of these children. I give my blessing to you all and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May it bless you as you have have been a blessing to us. Mark Kolenberg, the President of International Tennis Lover said that he was overwhelmed with the participation, dedication, selfless efforts and spirit to serve that everyone had shown to the event. ITL teams had worked around the clock to ensure that this was the best possible event for the children and we succeeded.

Natthawouthi Nilvises, the President of Eakmongkol Village and the Association President of Lions Clubs International (Pattaya-Na Klua) who said been responsible for the collection and joined to organise the food court for children said that it was the responsibility of able people to care for others. We do not live in society alone, we all have a duty of care, not just the right or privilege to give, and not only to take. He was so pleased to see young leaders taking care of the less privileged in society.

Stephen Patrick Devereux, the President of Rotary International Pattaya said that as Rotarian it is our duty to serve the less fortune, but seeing young leaders from all over the country coming together to serve the children like this, made him feel happy to be human. Cazillac Renaud, the Managing Director of Greta Sports Club said that Greta has collaborated with ITL for a few years now and was pleased to see the progress and support joint efforts had on the children. We are pleased that our members, the national beach tennis players, all joined in together to make this special event for the children. We are already looking forward to 2019 event.

Kelley Chambers, the Managing Director of Kingsmen Wellness Solutions said Kingsmen we are dedicated to serve society. To help Thailand cope with the health problems faced by its youth. Having the chance to teach healthy living, nutrition and fitness is a way for us all to help the children; especially the children at Father Ray’s who have been through so much. Tisirak Soonarong, the President of Tirak Taekwando said that she and her team find it necessary to give back to society; this event is a chance for us to share our knowledge, skills and give back to all the children that have been disadvantaged or are less privileged. It was a true delight for us to be part of it as everyone was so dedicated to do their best for a good cause.
