First thing first, let’s focus on the essentials: Colours

Colourful joyous clothes

Very important to mix many colours, and play with them as much as you can. The good part is that you can take out any strong colour clothing from your wardrobe and mix and match. Don’t forget to complement it with colourful makeup.

Say it OUT LOUD!

I called it this way, because this summer it’s all about the loud logos. Whether on clothing on bags or on shoes, they were screaming on your face. We kind of like it ” Fini les minimalismes”. we are strong and we don’t care. We are wearing the brands and you better read it 🙂

 Softer mood than the athlete

Sportswear pieces, which we have seen in the last 2 or 3 seasons started to mark their end and now are mixed alongside skirts and silk dresses. For this summer, rather than going out in your workout clothes, be more creative and mix and match them with the less sporty items in your closet!

Did you know, colours evoke different feelings of happiness and energy. Well, now you do. Black for power, white for clean, blue for calm, red for bold and orange for balance etc..

2018 was all about empowering women to achieve gender equality, a concept that is more preached than practiced unfortunately, and what’s better than strong influential colours to transcend this empowerment. If you feel empowered and want to actively influence rather passively follow, well buckle up cause you’re in the driver’s seat !!!

Focus on bright pink and yellow

Pink and yellow are the main colours for this summer. If you are cleaning your wardrobe, just make sure to keep any item you have with these  colours. I just love it when you wear many of them… They go best with a beautiful tan and they are eye catching right away. If you want all the heads to run your side, make sure to choose one of these two.

Belt bags

If you haven’t bought it yet, I think its about time to do so, as the waisted belts were everywhere this fashion season and they look amazingly cool. Many designers reinterpreted the traditional ones in a more contemporary and chic way. What I also like this season is how the same belt bags can be worn as a cross body. They can complement your cool look.

Mixing prints

To remain in the theme of mixing and matching, this summer 2018 is the mixing of different prints and patterns in the same outfit. This trend is pretty easy to follow: Use your creativity and judgement from top to toe to put together different prints that are very different but somehow can go together.

One and two piece swimwear

From front tied bikinis, to one shoulder swimsuits, to crocheted or swimsuits with tassels, plunging neckline one pieces, the sexy high cut swimsuits, activewear ones, or the shimmer and shine , to finally the high-waisted two pieces. Not to forget the matching cover ups. The variety is big and beautiful, just choose the colour and the style that suits body the most.

Trouser suit and flat shoes

Will suit ever not be a trend? Well, let’s just say this season it’s going to be even more of a trend. This time more like a man-literally. Talking about equality? Yes, women will ve dressed like men. But in colours, and stronger than ever and when I say like a man I mean it, because they will wear the flat shoes with it… My favourite is when the suits is in one colour and the shoes are multi colour.

Small colourful shades

Invest in as many as playful sunglasses as you can, because, there’s no such a thing as too many pairs of shade. My favourites are the tiny futuristic frames, that are worn by almost all the Insta Personas that are wearing them at the mid of their nose. I also liked the pastel colours glasses and lots of plastics of this season. Enjoy your summer with your shades….

Sheer dresses

Yes , you can go see through all the way this summer, either wearing on top of your underwear, dare to wear it sheer. Let them have a glimpse of what they are missing 🙂 Because as they say, people will stare anyway, let it be worth it…
